1 Ton Coal Fired Steam Boiler Heat
Many people who use boilers want to know how much heat a 1 ton boiler can provide and how much fuel they consume in one hour. Generally speaking, a 1 ton boiler can provide 600,000 calories per hour, which is right on the Internet. How did the 600,000 calories come from? Can all 1 ton boilers produce 600,000 kcal of heat in one hour? In fact, it’s not like that. Let’s calculate it.
The rated thermal power of a 1 ton boiler is 0.7MW, which means that a 1 ton steam boiler is equivalent to 0.7MW of heat. The following formula 1MW=1000KW=860,000 kcal/h (calories/hour) can be obtained, 0.7MW≈600,000 kcal/h (calories/hour). So a ton of boiler can provide 600,000 calories per hour.
So how much boiling water or steam can a 1 ton boiler provide in 1 hour?
Generally, how much boiling water a boiler can produce is calculated using this formula: Q=cm△t. Among them, c refers to the specific heat of the medium (we use water), m refers to the quality of the medium, and △t refers to the temperature difference of the medium. For example, how much heat does a boiler need to burn 1 ton of water from 20°C to 100°C? Q=4200*1000*(100-20)=336000000j=80270.4kcal. In other words, one ton requires 80,000 kcal to burn from 20°C to 100°C. We have just calculated that a ton of boiler can provide 600,000 kcal of heat in one hour, and that a ton of boiler can provide boiling water in one hour of 600,000/80,000=7.5 tons. It is not that the 1 ton boiler on the Internet is enough to provide 1 ton of boiling water in 1 hour. In fact, 1 ton here does not refer to the capacity of the boiler, but refers to the amount of steam that can be generated in 1 hour. In short, how much boiling water a 1 ton boiler can provide in 1 hour has many influencing factors in the actual process, such as the water supply temperature of the boiler, the ambient temperature of the boiler, the thermal power of the boiler (whether it is at full load), etc. Lower than the theoretical value.
As for the question of how much fuel a 1 ton boiler can consume in 1 hour, this fuel type is related.
1 ton natural gas boiler consumes 78m3 of natural gas per hour.
1 ton gas boiler consumes 176Nm3 of city gas per hour.
The consumption of coke oven gas per hour for a 1 ton gas boiler is 168Nm3.
1 ton gas boiler consumes 75m3 of liquefied gas per hour.
1 ton diesel boiler consumes 66kg of diesel in 1 hour.
1 ton methanol boiler consumes 101kg of methanol in 1 hour.
1 ton of coal-fired boiler consumes 190kg of standard coal in 1 hour.
1 ton biomass (straw) boiler consumes 200 kg of biomass (straw) in 1 hour.
The above values are theoretical values and are calculated under the condition of 1 ton boiler at full load. The actual consumption is much lower than this value. Also, the fuel consumption of the boiler is not only related to the type of fuel, but mainly to their calorific value. The higher the calorific value, the lower the fuel consumption.
